Skilled in Injury Rehabilitation, Injury Assessments and Treatment, First Aid, and Soft Tissue Therapy. A strong healthcare services professional with a bachelor’s degree focused in Sports and Exercise from Staffordshire University. Sam has worked within private physiotherapy clinics, NHS, medical practices, sports clubs and gyms treating a variety of patients including athletes and the public with different types of MSK injuries. From gaining valuable experience within the health industry, Sam has gained a very good reputation.
Sam is currently a full member and insured through the IPTI which has allowed him to work as a Sports Therapist in all environments. During his graduate studies at Staffordshire University, Sam was a member of the Society of Sports Therapists, a group that allowed him to work within physiotherapy clinics and the NHS gaining valuable experience while studying. Sam’s interest in Sports Therapy is driven by his passion for distance running. Being a keen distance runner, he can give valuable advice on overuse and repetitive strain injuries in particular. In his own time, he partakes in a lot of running, cycling, football and strength training. Due to experiencing a serious ankle injury in 2015, Sam has a passion for rehabilitating injuries and believes that hard work pays off. Sam is a strong believer in injury prevention and that general maintenance of the body is extremely important. He believes sports massage is one of the best ways to prevent sports and work-related injuries as well as improving poor posture.
