Susan graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Cape Town in 1995.  She worked within inpatient and outpatient settings in the private sector in South Africa, including running her own private practice before relocating to the UK. Susan worked for 5 years in the outpatient physiotherapy department at The Wellington Hospital in London, including heading up the hydrotherapy service. With 30 years of practice, she has gained extensive experience in the field of musculo-skeletal medicine.

Throughout her career, Susan has sought clinical excellence by attending post-graduate courses. Susan incorporates these areas of expertise into treatment sessions to assist rehabilitation. Some include: electrotherapy, joint manipulations, soft tissue techniques such as stretches and massage, exercise/sports rehabilitation, postural adjustments and ergonomic/kinetic handling re-education.

Susan assesses and treats looking at the ‘whole person’ and how lifestyle and stress can affect physical symptoms.
